ALINA’S BIO

Alina Díaz is the founder and CEO of One Collective and trusted brand marketing consultant who partners directly with clients to create, invest, build and grow brands and companies that are actively shaping a more inclusive world and advancing culture. She brings 25 years of experience helping build the world’s most iconic brands, spanning from client to agency, global to local, profit to non-profit, and DE&I to multicultural marketing perspectives. She works directly with clients to shape a future that empowers independent talent and drives greater efficiency.

In her mission to build a more inclusive world through brands, Alina is also working to launch a size-inclusive apparel line for women, bringing much needed, data-driven innovation into the fashion industry.

As the former Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director of Consumer Brands at MSL, Publicis Groupe’s PR agency, Alina was responsible for driving double-digit growth and leading MSL's largest business portfolio, including brands like Cadillac, White Claw, The Home Depot, Dunkin' and more. She doubled the size of the business in three years after the pandemic. Prior to MSL, she served as the Global Head of Cassandra, where her strategic vision and relentless focus fueled YOY revenue and EBITDA growth by creating a new consulting strategy offering and leading cultural strategy for Fortune 500 brands such as Google, Nike, Uber, Adidas, Disney, Meta, Target, AB InBev, Microsoft, and more.

Before her tenure at Cassandra, Alina played a key role as the VP of Consumer Marketing for Blue Flame Agency. In this role, she drove consumer demand and brand growth for CÎROC Ultra Premium Vodka and DeLeón Tequila, securing digital, social, and PR awards along the way and making Cîroc a more inclusive brand.

Prior roles include leading Marketing Innovation & New Business for Greencard Creative and serving as the Deputy Director of Multicultural Marketing at the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, where she spearheaded the first in-language resource for Latin parents in the U.S. and winning several marketing and advertising awards.

Alina started her career in advertising, working at BBDO worldwide in New York and previously at BBDO in Dominican Republic. She holds a Certificate in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Northwestern University, a Master’s Degree in Global Marketing Communication from Emerson College and a B.S. Degree in Marketing from PUCMM University in the Dominican Republic.

Alina is a classical pianist and was honored to play with the National Symphony Orchestra in the Dominican Republic when she was 16 years old. She spends most of her time in New York City with her husband and their puppy, Bleau. When she is not working on her passions or traveling the world, she enjoys coaching women and young professionals on their journeys.
