ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Meet Alina Díaz: a trailblazer redefining fashion for petite women everywhere.
For decades, Alina Díaz did what millions of petite women do every day: she altered every single piece of clothing she owned just to make it fit her 4'10" frame. That experience became her mission to change the fashion industry.
Growing up in the Dominican Republic, where access to tailoring was easier and more affordable, Alina could achieve the perfect fit. But moving to New York City changed everything. Stylish, well-fitting clothes simply didn't exist for her frame, forcing her to choose between fit and fashion, or pay the premium cost of constant tailoring.
She recognized an overlooked market opportunity hiding in plain sight. More than 50% of women in the U.S. are petite, and the global average height for women is just 5'3". Yet only 10% of brands offer options for women 5'4" and under.
The fashion industry has failed half of all women. Alina is rewriting that reality.
After 25 years building some of the world's most iconic brands as a marketing executive, Alina is now building her own. As founder of her namesake label, she's revolutionizing how fashion sees petite women. Her brand combines data-driven design with timeless luxury to deliver high-quality, perfectly tailored clothing made exclusively for women 5'4" and under—not just shortened versions of regular sizes, but garments designed for petite proportions from the ground up.
She's here to end the petite tax: the hundreds of dollars petite women spend annually on alterations just to make clothes fit properly.
Her vision extends beyond clothing. She's building a platform for change, grounded in her vision that ‘inclusion (in fashion) includes height' creating one perfectly fitted garment at a time.
